A new chapter has just opened in this new year saga. As usual, first new bloods will step into the world of woodtech by doing their dendrology practical in Dipterocarp and Non-dipterocarp Arboretum FRIM, Kepong. Although I did the same little thing in every new coming semester lingering at the same place has never faded since the first new courses implemented by Malaysia Polytechnics. Being an educator must first educate yourself for not easily get bored. Only dedicated educators could ever managed to stay in long period of time in this line.
In my preliminary sight, I discovered this Dec 2011 batch has something quite different compared to their seniors in terms of attitude, focus and commitment. I truly hope that this newly recruited style will meet the premier status. Previously, anybody who wanted to admit for PSA could apply directly but began from Dec 2011, all the candidates must apply via UPU first before sorted out based on their qualification and this time the border is so hard to break. Six credits would do just fine if you wanna step into this premier polytechnic.
Anyway, 2 hours of first practical seems enjoyed so much with these new freshies. I really hope all my field trips with these guys last happily and enjoyable till the end of the semester.
